The Visitor Center of the Natural Reserve of Monte Rufeno is housed in the Julia de Jacopo Tower, the ancient entrance to the city of Acquapendente, and as such wants to be a window on the protected area and surrounding areas for all tourists who want to know about Etruria Laziale Lazio and want to visit Tuscia. A first point of reception for visitors; inside you will receive, by qualified staff, tourist information of character accommodation, recreational and educational.
Environmental Education: Environmental Education activities will aim to contribute to the acquisition, by the new generations, of a clear vision of the relationship between man and nature. The programs, in their various developments, they want to encourage the group to focus attention on the delicate mechanisms that regulate the environment to change their attitudes towards the use of natural resources in a global vision that points to sustainable development.
Didactic: the Flower Museum is a multimedia and interactive Museum, designed to offer ideas to know about flowers, discover nature and the remarkable flowering of the territory and its traditions, linked to the feast of Pugnaloni. The Museum was conceived as a story that provides the ability to learn and play, have fun and spend a pleasant day surrounded by nature, using a wide range of media: interactive tools, games and multimedia, in addition to workshops and toy library. The Museum also offers outdoor pathways, such as the Nature Trail Flower and a botanical garden, which allow visitors to have direct contact with the environment of the forest and its secrets.
