Guided tour of the frescoes by Raphael in the Villa Farnesina in ROME. Near the point of arrival in Rome of the Via Francigena, Villa Farnesina in Lungara is one of the most harmonious buildings of the Renaissance. Built in the early '500, a wonderful blend of architectural work and decorative paintings, the building houses the wonderful frescoes of Raphael, including the famous painting the “Galatea”. Very interesting is a visit, to appreciate the splendor of the '500 and painting of the great Raphael. It is possible to extend the visit, seeking to put in contrast the differences between the “sacred” Raphael of the frescoes in the Vatican Museums and the “profane” Raffaello the Villa Farnesina.
