Visit CERVETERI on a guided tour to the enchanting Etruscan Necropolis named Banditaccia, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Necropolis, the largest of the ancient world come down to us, is an important example of funerary architecture and is surrounded by a beautiful park of high landscape value. Its visitors have the impression of being in a real city with blocks, main and secondary roads, where, carved into the tuff rock , overlook tombs that reproduce old houses and even their furniture. A true city of the dead where the evolution of tomb types ... from the oldest burials by cremation of the " Villanova" period , to circular mounds, to graves dice, to the hypogea, reflects the urban layout of the settlements from VII to II centuries. It is interesting to visit the Cerite National Museum, in the ancient village of Cerveteri. Housed in the Ruspoli Castle, the museum preserves part of the findings that emerged from the excavations in the local area. As part of the tour it is possible to arrange an "introduction to the knowledge of the places" at the premises of “Matuna” Association and taste typical local food and wine.
